What are the smallest and largest blank sizes you supply from stock?
Our smallest blank size is 55mm in 1.5 CR39 ranging through to a blank size of 80mm on our 1.67 Transitions Signature.
Which of the lens materials you supply are tintable?
- 1.5 CR39 is available to tint up to 85% absorption
- 1.53 Trivex is not suitable for tinting
- 1.56 is available to tint up to 75% absorption
- 1.59 Polycarbonate is not suitable for tinting
- 1.6 is available to tint up to 75% absorption
- 1.67 is available to tint up to 75% absorption
- 1.74 is available to tint up to 75% absorption
- Honeycomb lenses are not suitable for tinting
What type of pre-tinted lenses do you hold in stock?
We hold 1.5 CR39 and 1.6 index lenses in stock with a solid Brown, Grey or Green tint up to 85% absorption. Our 1.5 CR39 Pre-Tinted lenses are available in 65mm and 70mm in Uncoated and Back Surface Infinity XT. Our 1.6 MR8 Pre-Tinted lenses are available in 65mm and 75mm in Back Surface Infinity XT.
Will you inform me if a lens I have ordered is out of stock?
Yes. If there are any problems with your order, we will call you as soon as possible.

What kind of guarantee do you offer?
If any goods under inspection prove to be defective in material or workmanship, we will replace the faulty lens or refund the price if it is less than 2 years old. This does not apply to defects that arise from patient mishandling or everyday wear and tear. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for full details.
When ordering one surfaced and one stock lens for the same pair/patient, what do you recommend?
We would recommend ordering both lenses as surfaced in order to match tint, coating and/or thickness.
Can you accept orders with remote edge files?
Yes, we can. Our online ordering facility allows you to place an order and send with it a trace file from a remote edger. We can then either cut lenses to shape and return them to your practice or you can send in the frame for us to fully glaze in our state-of-the-art glazing lab.
